Learn everything you need to know to 3D print a simple clay vessel. We cover the following; how to 3D model a simple vase, how to slice the model for printing, how to mix and load the clay, and how to start and manage the print. The workshops usually take place on a Saturday morning.

STUDENT TALKS
1 hour | groups of 10-30 students
Aimed at students from design fields such as industrial design, interior design, or architecture, these talks bring a fun and interactive experience to the classroom. We start by doing a live clay 3D print and while it runs (about 40min) we talk through the advantages of 3DP as well as the challenges faced when designing for the technology.
OTHER
We (Marié and Jason) are committed to making large scale 3DP technology more accessible in Southern Africa. To do this we have to go beyond merely suppling the technology. We have to educate and inspire the great creative minds of our time on how to use this revolutionary technology.
